Liger / A Thousand Fuegos - Beatismurder.com Split Series Pt. 1 [bim05]

This music is pretty simple - but it definitely has something very special. A friend of mine said it reminds him of Múm - which is not the worst reference at all... =) Its sound is somewhat amateurish but I think that's exactly why I it's so full of charm. If you're looking for digital electronic stuff, this is not the right thing for you - if I had to classify this, I would probably label it as "indietronic" or something. All eight songs are pretty melancholic but I don't like the whole bunch. My tips for you are: "Abortion 2", "Dancealot", "Joga" and "Abortion 1: Bless the Pilot". Wonderful music, just wonderful...

Official text:
the fifth beatismurder.com release is available for free download now. it's a virtual split e.p. with songs by LIGER and A THOUSAND FUEGOS. if you like acoustic guitar based songs mixed with electronic noise and/or the early works of indie gods like SMOG and DANIEL JOHNSTON you should definitely give this one a try.

p.s.: there's also a bjork coverversion on it, so why are you still hesitating????
